For this project, I had the wonderful opportunity to work with logs from an old maple tree that had fallen. One weekend, feeling a creative itch, I decided to experiment with one of the logs on my lathe, allowing the wood to guide me towards its ultimate form.

Through hours of sculpting and shaping, I engaged in a dialogue with the wood, patiently coaxing out its inherent beauty and character. The process was a dance between my craftsmanship and the natural essence of the material itself, resulting in a truly unique piece that emerged from the collaboration between human hands and nature's gift.
